* 📢 Announcement: This is a call for support of Salah’s mother, Zakia, living in Gaza, with a critical medical condition, and whose life depends on the constant supply of a medicine (Ofev, 150 mg) through Gaza’s walls. We are calling on the Danish government to exert the due pressure to end the slow death of hundreds thousands of injured and ill Palestinians, who are denied the most basic medical treatment.

* 📍Where?: Palæstinas Plads, Copenhagen
* ℹ️ What is the action?: a flashmob solidarity video, where we will raise our voice together to show that we do not look away in the face of the imposed slow death of Palestinians. The people of Denmark must take a moral stance on this now and raise their voice to engage the elected officials to act.

“Hello, my name is Salah. I am a Palestinian from Gaza.
“For several months now, my mother, Zakia, has been in a daily, agonizing fight for her life in Gaza after Israel completely cut off her life-saving medication. My mother is not alone; she is one of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian patients who have been left to face a slow death due to this deliberate and suffocating medical blockade.”
“I love my Mom, and I cannot stand by while my loved ones are denied their basic right to medicine and life.”
“I am calling on all of you to join me this coming Saturday, 6th of June. We will not stay silent. We are gathering to shoot a powerful solidarity video to raise our voices for my mother and every single patient in Gaza.”
“Our goal is to send a direct, undeniable message to the Danish government: They must take real action and apply serious political pressure on Israel to open the borders and allow essential medicines and basic needs to reach my family and the people of Gaza immediately.”
